Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • ¼ cup light brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted

  • ¾ cup all purpose flour

  • ½ cup unsweetened 100% cocoa powder

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ⅓ cup dark chocolate chunks


Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper.

  2. Melt the butter in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals until melted through. Add to a medium sized bowl.

  3. Add the sugar and brown sugar to the bowl. Whisk to combine.

  4. Add the eggs and vanilla. Whisk together again.

  5. Melt the semi sweet chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals until melted through. Add to the bowl. Whisk to combine.

  6. Add the flour, cocoa, and salt. Using a rubber spatula fold until well combined.

  7. Add the dark chocolate chunks. Fold in until mixed throughout.

  8. Pour into the 8x8 pan and bake for 30 minutes.

  9. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing and cutting into 16 squares.

  10. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
